Last year we made product deliveries to 27,500 vessels, at over 2,000 ports.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will report to Supply Coordinator, Team Lead.
Who you are:
You have a Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Operations Management with a minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
Required experience and skills:
Proven communication skills.
Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.
Computer literate and good command of MS Office, Excel etc.
Proactive, takes responsibility and delivers results.
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
What you will be doing:
Ensure orders from our customers are handled in an orderly and timely fashion, and customer demands are met and communicated in an efficient and professional manner.
Communicate with customer service, inventory, freight, warehouse, and procurement department of necessary information concerning status of orders i.
e.
delivery, charges, delays, product availability etc.
Carry a cellular phone and laptop for remote access afterhours and on weekends.
Monitor vessel's schedule for delivery.
Communicate with vessel's agents for delivery arrangement.
Process customer orders via inhouse SAP system.
Update of delivery arrangement.
Process picklist for picking of products, delivery notes and relevant permits/certificates to the orders.
Follow up to close delivered customer orders with the signed delivery notes and process returns of materials (products/cylinders) via system.
Arrange and schedule drivers for deliveries.
Monitor efficiency of the driver's utilisation to ensure cost efficiency.
Responsible for correct document flow, reporting and tracking of order status, professional, timely delivery and cost pricing information towards final invoicing of service performed.
